Travis Skeltz had begun to realize more and more just how inadequate his arsenal was in combating the more dangerious criminals he had been running into recently and he was finding himself in other tight spots. He decided it was time to take his friend Dominic up on his offer. The anthro cyborg canine had offered to make gadgets for him and he hoped after the few months since he had last encountered him the offer still stood. He came to the residence at night when he was sure everyone was indoors and parked his car just infront of the house. He still had the adress written down on a piece of paper he saved. He hoped that no one would misstake him for a burglar as he hopped out of the car in his costume, walked up towards the door, and rang the doorbell.
Dominic Vanderson :had currently been in the living, toying with the television. Brows knitted together as he tried to figure out the problem, a growl now and again leaving his lips. His brother had gone out- no idea where, with that Rontu fellow, he thinks- and was currently home alone. Tall ears pointed up at the sound of the doorbell, the male's eyes narrowing. Now who could that be? He wiped his brow and took in a deep breath. Slowly, he approached the door, opening it. A small smile reached his features when he realized the male. "Well hello there, Hero," he leaned up against the door frame, arms crossed over his chest. "Looking for damsels in distress?" He gave a smug smile, chuckling.
Travis Skeltz would shake his head at Dominic's joke. Still he was glad Dominic still remembered him. Then again he supposed it was hard to forget a kid superhero. "Actually I decided to take you up on that offer of inventing gadgets for me. Crime fighting has become a little harder lately and I need some more gear to help me. Is your offer still open? I know it's been a while since I last saw you so if anythings changed I'll be fine with it." He hoped that Dominic's offer still stood. He desperately needed that new gear if he had any hopes of continuing to survive encounters with armed and dangerious criminals without relying on luck.
The male raised a brow. He couldn't help but smile at the kid's words, thinking as if he'd lie about an offer. He thought for a second though, considering what he was up to. He really wasn't up to anything though, was he? "The offer still stands, kid." He smiles, and straightens up. He turned, and flicked an arm up, wanting him to follow. "Come. We'll go to my work space and I'll sketch out some ideas for ya." If Travis decided to follow, he'd start moving towards the back end of the house, towards the garage.
Travis Skeltz would indeed follow him. He may of had a mask on but that could not hide the enthusiasm that he had in his stepped when he practicaly bounced into the house to follow Dominic. "Thanks again, I really appreciate you doing this for me especially considering you practicaly have only just met me." He actually had a list written down mentaly of things he needed for his fight against crime. Once they were settled into the garage he would go over it with him. He wondered what Dominic's garage would look like? Considering that Dominic was a technological genius he guessed the place would look like some state of the art labaratory built right into the garage and complete with tessla coils.
The maned wolf walked, smiling at the male's words. "No problem, Junior, no need to worry about it." He chuckled at how enthusiastic he sounded, and with a quick flick of his wrist, showing his little "laboratory" to the world. In the center was a very large table, littered with test tubs, scrap metal, and whatnot. In the very very back of the room, stood what looked to be a large object of some sorta, about the size of a human, but was covered up with a tarp, practically unnoticeable. The walls were as well littered with items, a blue print there, a picture there, sticky note scattered. Dominic gestured to the stools placed with the large metal table, he himself taking a seat. Silently, he opened a drawer, taking out a fresh blue print paper. He grabbed a pencil and looked at the male. "What ya got in mind?"
Travis Skeltz was in amazement from the very moment he walked in. Except for the Tesla coils it looked like a true scientists labratory just like he saw in movies and tv. He found himself attempting to make sense of some of the blueprints here and there just to see if he could but was ultimately un-able to decipher anything naturaly. He was also curious about what was hidden under the tarp? Was he building a android? His attention however was again on the subject at hand. "Well..." He was a little afraid of sounding needey or like he was taking advantage of Dominic's goodwill, but everything he had in mind was necessary so he just hoped Dominic wouldn't think less of the young superhero. "To start with, a better bullet proof vest. I'd also like some real night vision goggles that have a thermal mode, but I was hoping that you could make them compact sized as well so they can fit in my utility pouch. I'd like a grappling hook gun, and possibly a way to change the color of my car if I'm trying to get away from cops or criminals. And something that would allow me to change my license plate number at a whim to throw off pursuers would also help greatly. I hope that's not too much. I mean I know its a tall order but this is stuff that would really help me in my war on crime."
Dominic Vanderson :was already roughly sketching the items needed on the parchment, already have built most of those. "I've already made most of these, Junior, " he stated, and placed the eraser end of his pencil onto his lips, thoughtful. "But the cloaking device... Now that, that'd take some time, since it'd have to evolve around more technology based than the other items." He was already sketching small devices, like an outlet to place in a cigarette lighter, or to hook into the transmission. His mind reeled though, trying to think of easy, senseful designs. "And don't worry about it, it's my pleasure."
